Polar bears are some of the most daring moms of the animal kingdom. They navigate a treacherous terrain to keep their cubs safe and well-fed. In a world that's rapidly changing and becoming less hospitable, their strength and determination are unmatched. And every now and then, they too need a nap. This mom found a safe spot on an iceberg off the coast of Svalbard to cuddle with her two cubs while taking a well deserved rest. It is one of my favourite moments ever captured. This image was amongst the finalists of the "Ocean Photographer of the Year" awards in 2022.
